Mark Sneddon (Executive Director of the Institute for Civil Society) will give his views on likely outcomes from the Ruddock Inquiry into Religious Freedom and the promotion of a truly tolerant culture for all people and where to from here for freedoms of conscience and belief, speech and association in Australia. He will cover
recent ICS work challenging proposals to remove charitable status and tax exemptions for religious bodies in Victoria, remove hiring freedoms for religious organisations, physician assisted suicide/euthanasia and modern slavery.
