New Peninsula Baptist Church is a vibrant and diverse church. We are a community united by our love for God, His Word and the work He is doing through His people here on the Peninsula and around the world.
Prayer and practical biblical preaching underwrite our church life, as does our desire to meet real needs among the poor and marginalized in our local community.
We have a heart for helping others through our Pastoral Care ministry and our Community Caring arm which supports those in need in the broader community. We also have number of dynamic mission partnerships around the world including Newman Outback NW Australia,  Burma and Uganda.
We have over 60 Life Groups who meet regularly, growing closer and deeper with God together. They are groups of various sizes catering for a broad range of age groups and locations.
After over 50 years operating as autonomous churches on the Mornington Peninsula, Mornington Baptist Church and Southern Peninsula Baptist Church came together in 2006 as one church over two campuses, and New Peninsula Baptist Church was born.
With a shared sense of mission, vision and values, this partnership has been yet another example of God’s goodness and grace as He continues to build His church to impact the Peninsula and beyond.

At New Peninsula we distil our focus into four key elements: IN, OUT, UP and DEEP
‘IN’ ministries encompass what we might call community, welcoming, and pastoral care.
‘OUT’ ministries have a focus on expressing Jesus’ love and the new life he offers to those currently ‘outside’ the faith community.
UP ministries invite us to lift our eyes towards heaven in worship and prayer, and to meditate upon God’s word.
DEEP ministries challenge us to grow deeper, to walk more in step with the Spirit. Depth may come from sharing in life groups, serving in ministry, using one’s gifts, or further study.
